Set in the countryside, The Accident begins with a plane crash and no survivors. Lucía (Inma Cuesta) knows that her husband José (Quim Gutiérrez) was going to take that flight, so she begins a hard search. However, after examining the lists of those aboard and those who passed away, she discovers that her husband, the man she loves and father of her children, has left no trace. Jose's disappearance will take Lucia on an intense search for the truth, during which she will discover that her husband is perhaps not the person she thought he was.
