Andrés Vargas is a police inspector who dies chasing the Midnight Butcher, a psychopath who has killed several women. While recovering from the shock of knowing he is dead, Vargas will have the opportunity to return to life through an intermediate supernatural dimension, but five years later and in the body of another agent, Manuel Márquez.
